12/13 This winter we successfully completed our sixth year of Pike Presents. Once again the 389 children that attend Garden Hills elementary school received toys, books, and school supplies for the Holidays. Garden Hills is an elementary school in Champaign, IL that has many students that come from very poor families; 82% of the students qualify for free and reduced meals and tuition waivers. There are a large number of students that are temporarily in foster care and 23 children that are homeless. Garden Hills is host to many students that do not speak English and they therefore have 19 different languages represented at the school and 48 ESL students (English as a second language). For several of the children, the gifts that we gave them will be the only gifts they receive this Christmas. On top of the presents given, we also raised several thousand dollars to go towards school improvements. The total value of gifts and money raised is estimated to be around 35,000 dollars. We are proud to make the holiday season a little better for these kids.
While many more members of our chapter contributed to the success of Pike Presents, these brothers were willing to give up an afternoon during finals week to deliver the presents to these underpriveleged children.

11/18 Brothers Dylan Herman and Chris Barbaro were elected to the IFC Judicial Board
11/16 Beta Eta held elections tonight for IIMC and EIMC. Brother Jim Platania is replacing Brother Matt Saccomanno as IIMC, and Brother Tyler Weston is replacing Brother John Munz as EIMC.
11/4 Brothers JD Langefeld and Tim Mueller were elected to the IFC Executive Board. Brother Langefeld will serve as the VP of Service, and Brother Mueller will serve as the VP of Communications
